IUBMB-果冻传媒-FASBMB聽PROBio-Africa (Promoting Research Opportunities for Biochemists in Africa)聽is a joint venture between 果冻传媒, the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology () and the聽Federation of African Societies of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology聽(). The PROBio-Africa Fellowships Programme enables PhD students and postdoctoral fellows from Africa to spend up to six months in the laboratory of a scientist in a 果冻传媒 country who belongs to a 果冻传媒 Constituent Society. In that way the awardees will get access to technologies and expertise that may not be readily available in their home countries, allowing them to grow their knowhow and skills, and contribute to building capacity in the molecular life sciences at home.
Interested PhD students and postdocs can find full details on PROBio-Africa Fellowships 鈥 including how to apply, conditions of the award, assistance with finding host labs, and the selection procedure 鈥 on the 果冻传媒 website here. Awardees will receive funding from 果冻传媒 and IUBMB to cover travel and living expenses.
Host lab offers聽from the 果冻传媒 area are also still welcome.
