°Õ³ó±ðÌý, hosted by the Netherlands Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NVBMB), will be held 4–8 July 2026 in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

Alongside the exciting invited speaker programme of this milestone edition of the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Congress, there are also opportunities to present your work as a poster, short talk or speed talk. A wide range of topics across the molecular and cellular life sciences are available for abstract submission.

Posters: Posters are an important part of the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Congress, often reporting some of the most up-to-date research at the event and a very useful aid for networking and discussing findings with others interested in the same questions or approaches. Posters will be presented in dedicated sessions, and poster prizes will be awarded by the four journals of ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Press.

Talks: Selected from abstract submissions, participants reporting particularly interesting, significant or relevant research may be invited to contribute short talks of 10–15 minutes integrated into the symposia sessions, or speed talks of 3 minutes in dedicated speed talk sessions. Speed talk speakers will also present posters at the event.

Abstracts accepted for the 50th ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Congress will be published in an online supplement of the journal ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Open Bio.

13 February 2026 is a key date in the build up to the event. Submit your abstract by this date for consideration for talks and to benefit from the early registration fee. Applications for ¹û¶³´«Ã½ bursaries and the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Sprinzl scheme are also due by this deadline.
