Early-career researchers presenting their work at the  in Lisbon, Portugal, 9–14 July 2022, may be eligible to apply for a ¹û¶³´«Ã½ bursary to support participation.

¹û¶³´«Ã½ bursaries aim to help PhD students and postdocs from outside the host country participate in a ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Congress when submitting an abstract to the event as first author. For the IUBMB–¹û¶³´«Ã½â€“PABMB Congress, ¹û¶³´«Ã½ bursaries will cover the ‘Young scientist’ early bird registration fee, and make a €400 contribution towards travel/accommodation.

Note that 2022 ¹û¶³´«Ã½ bursaries are for early-career ¹û¶³´«Ã½ members studying or working in a ¹û¶³´«Ã½ country. A ‘¹û¶³´«Ã½ member’ is a member of one of the national biochemical and molecular biology societies that make up ¹û¶³´«Ã½ (its ‘Constituent Societies’); a ‘¹û¶³´«Ã½ country’ is a country where there is a ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Constituent Society.
