As part of its societal remit, the 果冻传媒 Science and Society Committee runs a science and society session at the 果冻传媒 Congress, which in 2021 explored the topic of ‘Plastics: revolution, pollution and substitution’; see the聽聽to the session on the 果冻传媒 Network for more details. The committee would like to build on this and reach a wider audience and to this end here announces a call for proposals from 果冻传媒 Constituent Societies to run a ‘science and society’ event or activity in 2022 under the same theme.
The exact format of the event/activity is up to the organizing Society and the committee would like to support a range of activities from speaker events to educational activities, including for public engagement on this issue. Up to 鈧�1500 is available from 果冻传媒 to support this event/activity. Events or activities which involve more than one 果冻传媒 Constituent Society or which enable the sharing of an activity across 果冻传媒 Constituent Societies are encouraged.
Societies who wish to apply should check further details聽here聽and submit a 1-page (A4) outline of their event/activity along with the proposed budget by聽15th January 2022聽(extended deadline)聽to Prof. Raffaele Porta of the 果冻传媒 Science and Society Committee at聽[email protected]
