This third edition of the Barcelona Blood-Brain Barrier Conference will take place in the vibrant and historic city of Barcelona from November 3rd to 5th, 2026. Chaired by Prof. Giuseppe Battaglia, Dr. Daniel Gonzalez-Carter, and Dr. Benjamí Oller Salvia, this international event will focus on the latest advances in brain barrier research, spanning neuroscience, bioengineering, and nanomedicine. The conference aims to foster global collaboration and deepen our understanding of the blood-brain barrier in both health and disease. To advance our knowledge of how the BBB impacts health and disease, the 3rd edition of the Barcelona Blood-Brain Barrier Conference will bring together scientists from across the globe to discuss emerging topics in BBB physiology, pathology and translational research. This interdisciplinary event will incorporate neuroscience, vascular biology, protein engineering, bioengineering, and nanomedicine to provide a unique platform to foster collaboration.
